Week 3 was just simply not my week. I went 4-11 overall, but I managed to go 3-2 in the SuperContest. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers inexplicably blew a gigantic lead which caused that game to swing or else I would have went 4-1. Not to mention the Green Bay Packers blew a 10-0 fourth quarter lead and lost outright to the Cleveland Browns.
I’m ready to put week 3 behind me and move on to week 4. We have a HUGE game on Monday Night Football between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Denver Broncos.
The SuperContest Picks & Why:(Seahawks -1 at Cardinals)While the injuries are mounting for Arizona with RB James Conner and CB Will Johnson out, the opposite is happening in Seattle. The Seahawks are set to return two key members of the secondary in S Julian Love and CB Devon Witherspoon to a defense that ranks 6th in passer rating against and 2nd in interceptions.
Even with
in charge, Washington dominated the Las Vegas Raiders a week ago. Meanwhile, Atlanta was taken to the woodshed by the Carolina Panthers losing 30-0.
returned to practice, but regardless of who is leading the Commanders, I like them to get the win.
The Titans haven’t lost by less than 8 points all season. That being said, I like the way rookie
has played to start the season. He looks like he can be the future in Tennessee. It’s tough for me to take an 0-3 Houston team as a full touchdown favorite, especially with the way
and the offense has played. The Texans have scored more than 10 points just once this season. I think this game stays close.
has helped the Jags to an early 2-1 start despite not having a significant impact in the box score. His ability to play both sides of the ball and be a general matchup problem is working. His usage has been an interesting one to watch, but the Jags are winning games and that is all that matters. San Fran’s injury woes continue with
going down for the year.
has the Chicago Bears feeling good after a dominant performance against the reeling Dallas Cowboys. Las Vegas had big expectations to start the year, but their whole operation is struggling in the last two losses. I like
to figure out a way to put up points on a Raiders defense that ranks 10th in yards allowed and is tied for 2nd with 3 plays given up of more than 40 yards.

Vikings -2.5 vs Steelers (Dublin)
Eagles -3.5 at Buccaneers
Bills -15.5 vs Saints
Panthers +5.5 at Patriots
Lions -10 vs Browns
Chargers -6.5 at Giants
Colts +3.5 at Rams
Ravens -2.5 at Chiefs
Packers -6.5 at Cowboys
Jets +3 at Dolphins
I’ll use these blogs to keep track of my 2025 picks. Best of luck to all those using these or fading me. FOOTBALL. IS. BACK.
Disclaimer: I’m not the best pick-maker the word has ever seen, but I do have a winning record over the 2023 & 2024 seasons of 261-227-15. If we remove all ties/pushes, that’s a 53.5% win rate. That’s certainly better than having a losing record. Now for the pick format, the SuperContest consists of any 5 games in a given week. The SuperContest games will have a *
I will not be picking any Broncos games this year as another FYI.
