Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all who celebrate, let’s not forget what this day is about: The Denver Broncos beating the living hell out of the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead.

Last Sunday was one of the worst football days I’ve had in awhile with the Broncos losing their one-game cushion for the #1 seed, every team they needed to lose winning their game, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY MY FANTASY TEAM CHOKED IN THE SEMIFINALS.

For context, it’s the 8th year of the Dynasty league that I commish. I’ve never won. I finished second last year, losing to my Dad in the championship. I would’ve faced my brother in the championship this year with a win but Breece Hall, Javonte Williams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Drake London & Orande Gadsden II combined for a miserable 31.4 fantasy points. I also played against Puka Nacua’s 46 fantasy points in Thursday night’s thriller against Seattle. Just an absolutely brutal weekend for football. I’m not sure I’ll ever win a trophy.

In happier news, I was 5-0 in the SuperContest last week… because of course! My picks mean nothing, yet here I am typing words & picking games on the birthday of a made up guy.

The SuperContest Picks & Why:(Texans +2 at Chargers)The Broncos need the Chargers to lose this game, so I’m doubling down on that. Go Justin Herbert!

(Panthers +7 vs Seahawks)The Seahawks are coming off of a very emotional win versus the Rams. The Panthers are peaking at the right time, I think this one stays close.

(Steelers -3 at Browns)The Steelers are the one of the hottest teams in the AFC right now. I think Aaron Rodgers is playing at a really high level. They should take care of the Browns.

(Saints -2.5 at Titans)Rookie QB Tyler Shough is making a late season push for Offensive Rookie of the Year. He is 4-3 as the starter, I expect him to pick up his fifth win.

(49ers -3 vs Bears)I want to buy all the way in on Ben Johnson and the Bears, but the 49ers and Brock Purdy is playing at an extremely high level. I think the 49ers are a dark horse to get the overall #1 seed in the NFC.
