I’m not a huge fan of the card this week, but there are quite a few meaningful games. None more important than the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football. A prime time win for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs puts them squarely back in the playoff hunt. A loss essentially ends their chances at making the playoffs. It would be the first time in the last 10 seasons that the Chiefs failed to make the postseason. I think I speak for everyone when I say we have our fingers crossed. Go Texans!

On the NFC side, there are a couple great matchups with Thursday night’s Lions-Cowboys setting the tone for the weekend. We also get the current NFC 1-seed, the Chicago Bears, going to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. It will be a huge test for Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams and the rest of the Bears squad.

The SuperContest Picks & Why:(Dolphins -3 at Jets)I think the Dolphins have figured something out with De’Von Achane and the running game. He just eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the season and has rushed for 120+ in three straight games.

(Browns -3.5 vs Titans)Should I be picking the Cleveland Browns? Probably not. But the Titans are a very bad football team heading into a tough road environment. Myles Garrett should have a field day.

(Seahawks -7 at Falcons)This is a tough line, but I believe in the Seahawks right now. Their defense is great, and Sam Darnold is playing well. The run game is solid, and they will be playing indoors.

(Bears +6.5 at Packers)I think this is a big line even for a historically mid franchise like the Bears heading into a road game against a much more successful division rival. Ben Johnson hates the Packers.

(Saints +8.5 at Buccaneers)Saints rookie QB Tyler Shough has actually been playing well the last few weeks since taking over for Spencer Rattler. I broke down last week’s game against the Dolphins on my twitter, take a look!

Rams -8 at Cardinals

Bills -5.5 vs Bengals

Texans +3.5 at Chiefs
